If you are just starting out in digital photography or have been shooting photographs for years and would like to take your photography to the next level, I can help. I have been a photographer for over 40 years and had been training and coaching photographers for over twenty-five years.
My coaching sessions are designed for you and your current skill level. This means that we focus on the topics and principles that are important to you, so your time is used effectively.
This is not an off-the-shelf canned training program. In preparation for the coaching session, I will conduct a telephone interview and have you complete a coaching questionnaire. This helps assure that I focus on the topics that are important to you and will help you improve your photography.
I believe the photographic process happens in two stages; the things that are done up to the click of the shutter and the things that are done after the shutter is clicked. The things that we do Up-to-the-Click are mental activities which focus our attention on the task at hand to create the photographic image. The second part of the digital workflow are those activities that come After-the-Click; image transfer and post-processing tasks that take place after the image has been captured. I believe digital photographers need to develop skills on both sides of the Click.
It is these two approaches that I utilize in the following environments to help you achieve your photographic goals:
Up-to-the-Click Workshops
These are the perfect for a new Nikon camera user or as a follow up to a Nikonians Academy Workshop. Both are tailored to meet your needs.
· Classroom workshop – A customized program that is used to demonstrate how your camera operates, how to use your camera's features, discusses the principles of exposure, how to improve your photographs and/or other photography topics in accordance with your coaching questionnaire.
· Field workshop - Actively working with you outdoors or indoors while you are taking photographs. During field workshops, I focus on working with you to achieve the images you want, reading histograms, and making necessary camera adjustments.

After-the-Click Workshops
· Computer Software Workshop – This is a classroom type training session. Using at a computer, the basic or advanced Nikon Capture NX 2 or Photoshop features and techniques are covered
· Webinar workshops – Internet conferencing used to conduct live meetings and presentations. A key feature of a Webinar is its interactive elements--the ability to give, receive and discuss information, rather than just receive it.

· How to conduct a White Button tour of your camera
· Pre-visualization of your images
· The Exposure Trifecta (Exposure, ISO and Shutter Speed)

Pre-Coaching Session Preparation:
After a confirmed coaching date has been established I will email you a pre-coaching session questionnaire. The pre-coaching session questionnaire must be completed and returned to Tuner Photography 14 days prior to the scheduled coaching session.
Pricing for coaching in the greater Seattle, Washington area
One person - Coaching Session
4 hours $375
6 hours $450
Two person - Coaching Session
4 hours $450

Deposit: A 50% deposit is required to confirm and hold your coaching date. The deposit will be applied to the total coaching fee. The coaching date will not be scheduled or confirmed until the deposit payment has been paid.
Cancellation Policy: In the event that you need to cancel a scheduled coaching date.
If the cancellation occurs within:
30 days of the scheduled coaching date = No deposit refund
30 to 90 days of the scheduled coaching date = 50% deposit refund
90 days before the scheduled coaching date = 100% deposit refund

One person - Coaching Session
4 hours $550 Plus travel expenses (travel, meals and lodging)
6 hours $650 Plus travel expenses (travel, meals and lodging)
Two person - Coaching Session
4 hours $675 Plus travel expenses (travel, meals and lodging)
6 hours $775 Plus travel expenses (travel, meals and lodging)
